No visit to Myanmar is complete without a visit to the 2,500 years old Shwedagon Pagoda, which is 10 or 15 minutes’ drive from Hotel Kan Kaw.

BogyokeAung San Market is situated in the heart of Yangon on BogyokeAung San Road. The market was first built and inaugurated on the present premises in 1926. It was named Scott Market after Mr. Scott, the then Municipal Commissioner. Nowadays, it is called BogyokeAung San Market in honor of our national leader General Aung San. It is 10 or 15 minutes’ drive from Hotel Kan Kaw.

 

The floating Karaweik Restaurant on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake is one of the landmarks of Yangon. This modern architecture of a mythical creature, Karaweik, was constructed in 1972 It is 10 or 15 minutes’ drive from Hotel Kan Kaw.

 

The former High Court Building is an iconic colonial-era building built in 1914 in British Queen Anne style including a clock tower. It is 15 or 20 minutes’ drive from Hotel Kan Kaw.
